Christmas is more than gifts under the tree,
It is the season for people to be really free.
If we give of our time, substance, and space,
The rewards we receive will surely replace
The emptiness and sadness we feel in our heart.
That follows like shadows to keep us apart.
Love is the answer to misery and woe
Let Christ fill your life and then really go.
Our Father in Heaven is waiting to see
If we want to follow Him, and really be
Free of temptations and life's evil way
And delights that snare us every day.
Let the Savior help you, He comes from above
He is waiting to give you his unbounding love.
